AAA — THE FORMULA FOR SURVIVAL
Two things keep any living system alive: water and stored solar energy.
Sugar is sunlight — converted through photosynthesis, stored, and transported. Every
grain your body burns is sunlight already stored.
Right now, at a national scale, this is being demonstrated. China holds an estimated 60
percent of the world’s rice reserves and spent approximately $10 billion in 2023 on
public stockpiling — treating stored solar energy as a matter of survival, not commerce.
But accumulating reserves is only half the answer. Ants do not survive because they
hoard. They survive because thousands of individual units move according to a shared
signal — without central command, without a single point of failure.
That is the model: Water. Sugar — stored solar energy. And the Ant Principle:
decentralized homes, growing and gathering collectively, connected by a shared signal
rather than directed from above.
AI is the modern version of that signal. Not a replacement for the village — the trail that
allows it to coordinate again, at the speed this moment demands.
